The current situation of X-ray powder diffractometers made in China is reviewed.In recent years,the domestic powder diffractometers have gained considerable progress,despite there is still gap between domestic and imported instruments.The Chinese instruments can already meet the basic needs of structural analysis and phase analysis.Under same experimental conditions,whether domestic or imported instruments can obtain X-ray diffraction data and graphs with similar quality.
