In this paper, a mother wavelet with arbitrary frequency compact suppset is constructed by using continuous wavelet method. It is applied to separate frequency of gravity anomalies into several sub-band information. The numerical algorithm is presented. Some numerical results illustrate the reliability and effectiveness of this method.
