基于梯度向量流(GVF-Gradient Vector Flow)外力场的活动轮廓线模型的不足之处在于Snake曲线在窄带凹边界处收敛效果不好.通过在能量泛蛹的变分方程中引入两个以图像梯度为变量的函数来解决这个问题.改进的模型继承了GVF活动轮廓线模型的全部特性,同时提高了其在窄带凹边界处的收敛性,并加快了初始Snake曲线的收敛速度.多个算例说明了本文方法的有效性.

When we compute the external force field in the active contour model based on the GVF field,there is one defection that the Snake curve is of poor convergence of thin concave boundary. In this article,we introduce two new functions based on the gradient vector in the energy variable function to generate a new GVF field. The improved GVF field can solve the above problem. As a result,the new model has all the characters of the GVF field active contour model. Simultaneously,the improved GVF field has improved the convergence of the thin concave boundary and accelerates the convergence of the initial contour. The efficiency of the improved model is verified by several numerical examples.
