This paper introduces the USB-CAN card based on LPC2148 and MCP2510. LPC2148 is an ARM7TDMI-S core micro-controller, that has high CPU-speed, with USB2.0 Full Speed Device Controller and SPI bus. MCP2510 is a full CAN protocol con-troller implementing CAN specification V2.0A/B. It communicates with microcontroller via SPI bus. The card can implemente commu-nication between computer and CAN net with high speed. This article introduces the hardtware and software design in detail.
