The aim of this paper is to investigate static bifurcation theory for general boundaryvalue problems for diffusive logistic equation which model population dynamics in environmentswith spatial heterogeneity. We study the changes that occur in the structure of the positivesolutions as a parameter varies near the first eigenvalue of the linearized problem.
