通过实地调研，在总结分析河北省古城文化保护开发工作中存在问题的基础上，提出了在古城保护开发工作中应注重整体保护、体现文物自身价值，提炼古城的核心价值、突出古城特色的唯一性，统一规划、整体推介等策略，以达到提升古城活力及社会效益的目的。

Through the spot survey, on the basis of summary analysis existing problems in the protection and development work of Hebei province ancient city culture, put forward in the protection and development work of ancient city should focus on the overall protection, reflect oneself value of cultural relic, refine the core value of ancient city, highlight the uniqueness of ancient city characteristics, unified planning, overall promotion and other strategies, in order to achieve the purpose promoted the vitality of ancient city and enhanced social benefit.
