The measuring principle of the miss distance measuring of the video interpretation was introduced. Based on the subsection linear transformation enhancement and the fast transformation enhancement in the image preprocessing procedure the photography were interpreted respectively, the measurement units were calculated and its errors were analyzed. This provided the basic data for the image preprocessing procedure in the video interpretation.
