The lodging is one of the serious problems in rice production.The effect on the yield and quality is serious for the lodging of culm in rice,and the earlier the lodging appears,the bigger it loss.The research progress in the rice lodging was reviewed from the aspects such as the occurrence regularity and the defensive technology.The research issues to be widened and deepened in rice lodging were also put forward.
