在区分＂部分-整体关系＂与＂种属关系＂的基础上,厘清了提喻的本质,明确了其表现形式,肯定了其认知作用,认为提喻不同于换喻;从认知的角度来看,提喻是一种基于语义包含关系、包容性更广和包容性稍窄的范畴之间的概念转换,表现为以种代属或以属代种。其认知作用主要是通过概念转换,扩大或缩小认知范畴。
재구분＂부분-정체관계＂여＂충속관계＂적기출상,전청료제유적본질,명학료기표현형식,긍정료기인지작용,인위제유불동우환유;종인지적각도래간,제유시일충기우어의포함관계、포용성경엄화포용성초착적범주지간적개념전환,표현위이충대속혹이속대충。기인지작용주요시통과개념전환,확대혹축소인지범주。
Through a differentiation between meronymy and taxonomy,this paper clarifies the definition,the forms and the cognitive function of synecdoche,and believes that synecdoche,from a cognitive point of view,unlike metonymy,is a conceptual transfer based on semantic inclusion between a more comprehensive（genus） and a less comprehensive category（species）,which allows the speaker to express his mind indirectly by transferring perspectives from a category at an upper level to one at a lower level or vice versa.
