采用自行研制开发的新型铁系复合氧化物催化剂,以间甲酚为原料,甲醇作甲基化剂,在固定床管式反应器中进行催化反应,一步合成2,3,6-三甲基苯酚,考察了温度、空速及原料配比对反应的影响。结果表明,在LHSV 0.8 h-1、反应压力 0.2 MPa、温度 360 ℃、间甲酚/甲醇/水摩尔比为1/6/2的条件下,间甲酚的单程转化率为99.89%;2,3,6-三甲基苯酚选择性为90.80%。

2,3,6-trimethylphenol which is useful as intermediates for vitamin E and pesticides was prepared by vapor-phase methylation of m-cresol with methanol in a fixedbed tube reactor in the presence of a metal oxide catalyst.The influence of temperature,space-velocity and feed molar ratio on the yield of 2,3,6-trimethylphenol was examined.The synthesis process was also described in detail.The results show that the catalysts have higher reactivity and selectivity.The conversion of m-cresol is 99.89%,the selectivity of 2,3,6-trimethylphenol is 90.80%.
