以TM卫星影像为数据源,结合典型区实地样方调查数据,采用3S技术划分了甘肃景泰县天然草地类型的空间分布,包括4类,5个组,7个型;并利用归一化植被指数(NDVI)构建了草地产草量估测模型(y=0.433 5e~(0.028 5x),R~2=0.56);并评价了草地的利用现状,目前景泰县天然草地面积39.18万hm2,理论载畜量7.38万羊单位,研究结果为景泰县天然草地资源的合理规划、保护、建设和利用提供依据.

The TM image data and field survey were used to investigate and evaluate the grassland resources in Jingtai. The grassland was classified into 4 classes, 5 groups and 7 types based on RS, GIS and GPS technologies and the grass yield estimation model was setup with NDVI (y=0.433 5e~(0.028 5x), R~2=0.56). The area of natural grassland and the theoretical carrying capacity were 391.8 millions ha and 73.5 millions sheep units respectively. The current situation of grassland utilization was evaluated to provide the information for planning, protection and sustainable utilization.
