菊黄东方纯在土池养殖环境下生长速度较快，平均日增长体重达0．658g，成活率达86．7％。每日有早晨和傍晚两个摄食高峰，每次的投喂时间在1～2h，早晨的投喂量占日摄食量的三分之一左右。早期日投饵率为2．0％～3．0％，后期为1．5％-2．0％，根据实际情况进行适当修正。正常情况下换水量在20％-40％。坚持“以防为主，防治结合”的原则，主要从水质管理、饵料管理和药物施用三个方面进行控制、预防和治疗菊黄东方纯病害。
