Listening is a process to accept and comprehend oratory information. The ability of listening, which is trained and developed in the process of listening activities, is the integration of ability to memorize, ability to generalize and ability to predict. The development of ability of listening at college English teaching and learning should follow the systematic law of human listening activities. This paper puts forward suggestions to improve college listening teaching on the basis of an analysis about the CET-4 questions.
