差分方程作为描述离散过程的数学模型由许多科学领域的实际问题引出.线性自治差分方程作为一般自治差分方程的线性化在研究差分方程稳定性问题中起着重要的作用.近年来,在许多学术论文和专著中讨论了线性自治差分方程的稳定性.简要地回顾和介绍其中的一系列研究成果,供进一步研讨参考.

Difference equations as discrete mathematical models arise in many scientific fields. Lin-ear automatic difference equations as linearization of general difference equations play an important role in studying stability of automatic difference equations. In the recent years stability problems of linear auto-matic difference equations are discussed in many research papers and monographes. Firstly, a series of research results out of them is recalled and introduced. Secondly, some interesting problems are proposed for use of researches.
