A design way of a well voltage-controlled characteristic VCXO is presented.The reason for VCXO nonlinear output has been elaborated firstly. The element choice and the design of VCXO has been introduced. Then an voltage-controlled crystal oscillator whose operating frequency is 10 MHz is designed and manufactured and it has a coarse adjustment voltage controller and a micro adjustment voltage controller.The range and nonlinearity of VCXO is improved through MAX828 in this circuit. Finally the data which obtained through the experiment has been recorded. Correctness of this design is confirmed.
