    Though there are some serious flaws in the theory and practice to prevent peaceful evolution put forward by Mao Zedong,it did,in a certain time,stop effectively the plot for peaceful evolution by the Western hostile forces from happening in China.Today when we review Mao＇s theory and practice to prevent peaceful evolution,it is of great significance for us to safeguard the ideology security in China and to enhance our cultural soft power in the international competition in the new historical period.
