Because of the poor physical properties, the production of high pour - point oil well is hard to acquire by normal measures. By introducing downhole heating apparatus,improving PT packer and supporting heat preservation meas- ures on ground, the integrated operation of well testing, swabbing and production was realized in high pour - point oil wells. The principle and characteristics of the electrical heating technology is introduced. The field application shows that the downhole heating technology is a practicable measure for well testing in high pour - point oil reservoirs.
