Expanded graphite obtained from the deep processing of natural flake graphite is a new kind of porous carbon-based absorption material.It is widely used in various fields such as petroleum industry,chemical industry,environmental protection,mechanical industry,metallurgical industry,etc.This paper makes a systematic introduction to the structure and adsorption mechanism of expanded graphite,emphases on purposes of this new absorption material in the field of environmental protection,and briefly introduces the recovery and reuse of the expanded graphite.
