为了探讨中药“孕宝”治疗母牛子宫炎提高受胎率的作用机理，本试验用ELISA方法测定了病牛服用中药前后血清及子宫粘液中肿瘤坏死因子－α（TNF-α）的含量（用OD值表示）。结果患子宫炎病牛子宫粘液和血清中OD值均高于健康牛。服用中药使病牛子宫粘液的OD值由0.2358±0.2821下降至0.0653±0．0267（n＝8），对照组病牛由0.2802±0.2772上升至0.3602±0.2763（n＝6）。用药组病牛血清OD值由0.6885±0.1838降至0.5328±0.1058（n＝8），而对照组无明显变化（n＝6）。这些试验表明，中药孕宝有降低子宫炎病牛炎性细胞因子TNF-α的作用。

In order to investigate the relevant mechanisms of the Chinese herbal prescription YUNBAO in treatment of endometritis in dairy cows，tumor necrosis factor-α（TNF-α） contents in uterine mucus and serum were assayed by ELISA （expressed in OD values）．Both the uterine and serum TNF-α contents were higher in the suffering cows than those in the clinical healthy cows．The Chinese herbal treatment brought about the uterine TNF-α OD valus in diseased cows from 0.2358±0.2821 to 0.0653±0.0267（n＝8），while the control group showed a little increase （from 0.2802±0.2772 to 0.3602±0.2763，n＝6） in OD values，In serum，the OD values were downregulated，from 0.6885±0.1838 to 0.5328±0.1058（n＝8）in the treatment group，but no change was found in the control group（n＝6）．These results indicate that the Chinese herbal prescription conld be able to downregulate the inflammatory cytokine TNF-α in endometritis cows．
