研究了以对苯二酚和甲基叔丁基醚(MTBE)为原料,以酸性阳离子交换树脂为催化剂合成2,5二叔丁基对苯二酚(DBHQ)。用正交试验法,得到合成DBHQ的适宜工艺条件为:n(MTBE)∶n(对苯二酚)=3∶1,m(催化剂)∶m(对苯二酚)=0.6∶1,反应时间为7~8 h,反应温度为80 ℃,连续分出甲醇。在此条件下产物中的DBHQ质量分数可达91.9%。

Synthesis of 2,5-di-tert-butylhydroquinone by alkylation of hydroquinone with methyl tertbutyl ether (MTBE) was studied. The effects of reaction time, reaction temperature and solvents on the yield of 2,5-di-tert-butylhydroquinone were also investigated. Under the optimum conditions: the reaction temperature about 80 ℃, the reaction time 7~8 h, n(MTBE)∶n(hydroquinone)=3∶1, m(catalyst)∶m(hydroquinone)=0.6∶1, the content of 2,5ditertbutylhydroquinone in the product reached 91.9%. Because of its high yield and mild conditions, this method is convenient for preparing 2,5-di-tert-butylhydroquinone and prospective in industrial application.
