伶仃洋是珠江入海河口湾中最大的一个河口湾,其沿岸汇聚着珠江三角洲活跃的人类活动和主要的经济活动。本文根据1987年3月和1997年1月枯水期对珠江口的水环境调查结果,通过比较、分析水质状况,运用水质质量单项标准指数法和综合指数WQI法,分别评价了伶仃洋水域中内伶仃和外伶仃断面10 a前后的水质质量。结果表明,10 a来伶仃洋水体的污染程度不断加重,有机碳和无机氮已成为该水域主要的污染因素。内伶仃洋与外伶仃洋相比,水质状况较差,除有机碳和无机氮污染严重外,无机磷也表现有严重的污染。此外本文还对1997 年珠江口枯水期的水体进行了富营养化评价。珠江口内伶仃和外伶仃水体的富营养化程度均较高,因此,珠江口水域的环境管理和沿岸污染治理,依然是今后相当长时期的一个重要任务。

Based on the investigati on information from the dry period of the Pearl River Mouth, in Mar of 1987 and Jan of 1997 respectively, the water quality status in the profile of internal Lingdi ng and external Lingding were assessed by the water quallity index model ( WQI) and selecting pH, DO, PO3-4-P, COD, Chl_a and DIN as the asse ss ment index. The assessment result shows that the organic carbon and the inor ganic nitrogen were the main pollutants in the waters of Lingdingyang estuary. When the assessment result was compared before and after the decade, the water quality in the profile of internal Lingding was worse than in external Lingdi ng. The eutrophication of the Pearl River Mouth in the dry period of 1997 was al so assessed. It shows that the eutrophication edgree in Lingdingya ng estuary of the Pearl River Mouth was high,so, the water environment around t he Pearl River Mouth should be paid much attention.
