This paper reports 34 newly recorded butterflies found in Chongqing, including 4 species of Swallowtails, 2 species of whites and yellows, 7 species of browns and satyrs, 5 species of nymphs, 10 species of blues, and 6 species of skippers. The sum of Chongqing butterfly species increase to 506 spe-cies. It occupies 20.12% of the species of butterfly in China.
