HPLC oxymatrine matrine injection pharmacokinetics
Objective To establish a method for determining oxynatrine in human plasma and to study the pharmacokinetics of matrine injection. Methods 18 healthy male volunteers were injected a single dose of 300mg matrine intra-musclularly. The serum concentrations of oxymatrine were determined by HPLC. Data of serum level-time were disposed with 3P87 software. Results The serum concentration-time curves of the oxymatrine appeared to fit two-compartment open model. The major pharmacokinetic parameters of oxynatrine were: Cmax (4.18 ± 1.28)mg/L, Tmuax (23.68 ± 8.89)min, T1 /2α ( 32 .13 ± 9.56)min, T1 /2β (130.40 ±43.66)min, CL (0.35 ± 0. 27 ) L /min , K (0. 0066 ± 0. 0055 ) /min , AUC (613.05 ± 173 . 69 ) min @mg /L. Conclusion The present study provides pharmacokinetics of matrine injection in healthy Chinese volunteers.
