The research and practice of setting up a new biochemical experiment teaching system are introduced.The characteristics of the new experimental teaching system of biochemistry include:the transformation of innovative research achievements into the content of experimental teaching;the combination of multiform teaching methods and diversified teaching means; the combination of in-class experiments with extracurricular scientific research;and "second classes" teaching, etc.With 7 years practices of experimental teaching for clinical medicine majored students, it has proved that the new experimental teaching system has a marked effect on the cultivation of students' innovations, on the expansion of knowledge perspectives and on the improvement of basic skills.The new experimental teaching system would take a successful step towards the balance between the teaching reform of colleges and universities and the current requirements for the medical professionals.
