采用实地调查、标本采集与查阅文献资料相结合的方法,对毛乌素沙地食用植物资源进行了调查分析,以了解毛乌素沙地食用资源植物类型、用途及生态利用价值,以期为合理利用、有效保护该区资源植物提供科学依据.结果表明,毛乌素沙地食用植物有320种, 隶属于82科229属,其中野果、野菜及饲料植物资源丰富,特色鲜明,具有较高的开发利用价值.饲用植物可作动物饲草、饲料添加剂,还可用在生态环境建设中;野菜、野果具有较高的食用价值,可开发系列产品,还可用在生态环境建设及城市园林绿化中.并提出加强食用资源植物调查,坚持以保护为主,适度开发特色植物的原则,建立特优物种基因库,开展特异物种驯化栽培试验研究等合理利用与保护建议.

Based on resources survey,sample collection and document searches,e dible plant resources on the Maowusu sandy land were investigated and analyzed. In order to offer scientific foundation for their utilization and protection, th is research is designed to find out the types, quantity and using situation of e dible plant resources and bring forward protective measures and applied approach es. The results show that there were 320 species of edible plants belonging to 2 29 genera of 82 families in the region, of which wild fruit, potherb plant and m anganese oxide plant with higher value of development and utilization is rich in resources and have distinct features. Forage plants can be used for animal fora ge, feed additives and the construction of ecological environment; Potherb and W ild fruit plants with higher food value can be developed for a series of product s, and they can also be used in the ecological environment and landscape of urba n areas. Advices are also proposed, such as to strengthen the investigation of e dible plant resources, to adhere to the principle of taking conservation as the main purpose and while making appropriate development of the principle of plants , to establish the gene pool of the excellent species and to carry out domestica ted and cultivated experimental study.
