    In this article, the occurrence, living habit and harmfulness characteristics of Spodoptera litura in the main Colocasia esculentac producing areas were summarized. The integrated control methods including agricultural control, physical control, biological control and chemical control were introduced.These provide some references for the control of Spodoptera litura in colocasia esculentac.
