为降低帧内预测的运算复杂度,根据不同的模式在宏块中出现概率的大小不同,在帧内4×4的亮度预测模式中,选取出现概率最大的5种预测模式,作为优先选择的预测模式.基于像素块的纹理特性,选择不具有方向性的直流模式通过阈值的设定来提前终止模式选择,通过提出的算式将4×4亮度块的候选模式从9种降低到1至4种,将16×16亮度块的候选模式从4种减少到1到3种.实验结果显示,在保证图像质量基本不变的情况下,该算法可节约12.26%到48.25%的编码时间,而码率只有微小的增加.

In order to reduce computational complexity of intra prediction, according to that different mode has different probability in macro-block, five prediction modes of luminance 4×4 modes are choosed as the preferential modes which have maximal probability. Choosing unidirectional direct current mode in advance through setting statistical threshold, to this which based on the feature of the block, and to this which based on the new equation, the number of candidate mode for luminance 4×4block is reduced from 9 to 1-4 and the number of candidate mode for luminance 16×16 block is reduced from 4 to 1 -3. The experimental result shows that the proposed method save 12.26% -48.25% computational load without degradation of the image quality negligible and increase a little bit-rate.
