生态城镇化建设作为生态文明建设的重要内容，不仅体现了全面建设小康社会的内在要求，而且也是实现中国梦的重要基础。我国在生态城镇化建设方面进行了积极探索，近些年取得了一些成就和经验，但也存在着重“城”轻“镇”、市场机制欠缺、体制机制不协调等问题，这些问题的解决，必将有利于加快实现中国梦的步伐。
