近几年,山茶属植物因其经济价值和潜在的能源价值受到了研究人员的高度重视,关乎其引种选育和资源利用开发的抗寒性研究也同样引起了关注.目前关于山茶属植物的抗寒性研究较多较为全面的是经济作物茶树,抗寒指标中生理指标应用较多,一般采用多个指标综合分析筛选抗寒品种,抗寒性的测定方法也趋于多样性,抗寒育种已深入到分子领域,但关于山茶属植物抗寒性的研究缺乏系统性、全面性,集中研究了有经济效益、观赏价值的物种,忽略了稀有物种.

In recent years,Camellia has been held in great honour due to its economic value and potential energy value, as well as cold resistance relating to introduction breeding and development and utilization. The studies on Camellia sinensis are more comprehensive.The physiological index has been widely applied to select the better breeds.And several indices were used together to receive a desirable result, so did the mensuration.The study on the breeding of cold resistant plants has been went further into the domain of molecular. However, the researches on cold-resistant Camellia are unilateral, which focused on the species with high economic value or ornamental value and overlooked the rare species.
