Protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B(PTP-1B)dephosphorylates different protein substrates in cells so that different physiological reactions are generated.PTP-1B has been implicated as a regulator of multiple signaling pathways,such as insulin and leptin signaling transduction,and so on.In recent years,as further understanding of the role of PTP-1B in muhiple physiological and pathological reactions,the extraction and advanced development of PTP-1B inhibitors may reveal novel prophylactic and therapeutic strategies in treating related diseases.
