The adapter board for CAN bus and serial port based on the controller of 51 microchip is designed for communication between ship equipments. CAN bus and RS-422’s specialty is analyzed and compared, the design of hardware circuit is described, and the flow and design concept of program is described as well,also giving related code. The adapter board has a high reliability and a fine real time performance.
