沙产业是在全球荒漠化与日俱增的背景下应运而生的。尽管我国西北广大地区处于荒漠化地带，但是该地区丰富的光热及土地资源和独特的自然条件，也是其他地区所没有的优势因素。本文采用SWOT分析方法，对西北荒漠化地区发展沙产业的内部资源和外部环境进行了全面分析，总结出荒漠化地区沙产业发展所具备的优势和劣势以及可能存在的机遇和挑战，进一步提出了沙产业可持续发展的对策，为当她政府和企业推进沙产业可持续发展提供理论依据。

Deserticulture has come into being in the context of increasing desertification in the world. Although the majority of the northwest of China lies in the desertification areas, there ate some advantages such as rich resources of light, heat and soil, as well as the particular natural environment, which do not exist in other parts of China. Based on the analysis of the internal resources and external environment of desertification areas in the northwest, all the advantages and disadvantages as well as the possible opportunities and threatens that the deserticulture faces are concluded by means of the SWOT matrix. Some suggestions are further given out for the sustainable development of Deserticulture, which will provide a theoretical foundation for the decision of the local governments and enterprises in promoting the sustainable development of Deserticulture in desertification areas.
