根据可持续发展的基本理论，结合水路运输的特点，分析了水路运输可持续发展的内涵，提出了我国水路运输可持续发展的评价指标，从而为制定我国水路运输可持续发展对策提供理论依据．

Based on the basic theory of sustainable development and the characteristics of water transport, this article makes a research on the connotation of water transport sustainable development. It advances evaluation criteria for the water transport sustainable development in China and probes into the basic theory of the water transport sustainable development in China, which provides theoretical basis for the countermeasure of the water transport sustainable development.
