Serious deformation of the main internal inclined shaft in Hanzhuang Mine occurred due to mining activities.Though maintenance was made for several times after production stop, the results were not so satisfactory and enormous economic losses were caused due to production stop.The roadway stability problem was settled once and for all after the application of support technology by rockbolt and grouting .This paper describes this technical experience for the rapid maintenance and reinforcement of the internal inclined shaft.
