Initial Forum on Food Business and Management,which was hosted by the Shanghai Food Institute and co—organized by College of Economics and Management,Shanghai Ocean University,is an important academic exchange combining industry,academics and scientific research together.On this forum the participating experts and scholars made wide—scoped academic study and research on some important and hot issues like modern management for food-related enterprises,food quality and safety,food industry development,management for food logistics and so on.At the meeting many findings have been achieved which should surely promote the progress and smooth development of food and other related industries and which would also have great significance for improvement of research and management levels for food economics in China.
