It investigated a problem of the identification of an unknown source ,the problem was ill-posed in the sense that the solution (if it existed) did not depend continuously on the data .The mollification regularization method was utilized for solving the problem ,and its convergent rate was analyzed .Numerical results were presented to illustrate the accuracy and efficiency of the method .
