The thesis introduce in detail the design and realization of the system of automatic budget-making of Chinese geologic survey project. Budgeting for a project is not only the basis of making a project plan and the project funds but also the important tool to analyze the project design on the technique and economy.The system really realizes the automation of information management,which will liberate the budget-making persons from finding boring standard data, summing complex data and making the same report again and again.The system based on the technique of OLE-DB and COM is realized by Visual platform and completes the functions of locating the exact table from many ones,design different user interface based on different tables,summing data in the same table and in the different ones, and making complicated reports. The system departs the data view from data operations which are supplied by COM components, so it is easy for system maintenance and upgrade.
