Temperature influences the light-wave interferometry in two aspect when measuring the length of the gauge block , i. e. on the measured object and the measurement standard. The relationship between the various sources influencing the temperature change which effect the measured length of the gauge block is described. Some corresponding practical methods of control and boundaries in the experiment are discussed.
