采用顶部籽晶法生长了Nd^3+:Li3Ba2Re3(MoO4)8(Re=Y,Gd,La)晶体。利用X射线单晶衍射仪证实了其结构,并得到了其晶胞参数。测量了这三种晶体的室温吸收谱和荧光光谱,并计算了吸收光谱和荧光光谱中的相关参数。吸收光谱表明,这三种晶体在805nm处均有较强的吸收,其吸收半峰宽分别为6nm、6nm、7nm,非常适合于LD泵浦。同时根据这三种晶体的荧光光谱计算了其在1.06μm处的发射截面,其峰值分别为:11.6×10-20cm2(Nd3+:Li3Ba2Y3(MoO4)8),8.7×10-20cm2(Nd3+:Li3Ba2Y3(MoO4)8),6.2×10-20cm2(Nd3+:Li3Ba2Y3(MoO4)8)。最后,本文将这三种晶体的相关光谱参数与其它一些掺Nd离子的激光晶体进行了对比。结果显示,Nd^3+:Li3Ba2Re3(MoO4)8(Re=Y,Gd,La)晶体是一种有潜力的固体激光材料。

Nd^3+:Li3Ba2Re3(MoO4)8(Re=Y,Gd,La) crystals were grown from melt by the top seeded solution growth method and their structure were confirmed by X--ray analysis. The absorption and emission spectra of the crystals were measured and the spectral properties were investigated. All the crystals have a strong absorption bands at 805nm and the full width at half the maximum (FWHM)are 6,6 and 7nm, respectively. The emission cross sections of the crystals were calculated to be 11.6×10-20cm2 for the Nd^3+:Li3Ba2Re3(MoO4)8, 7×10-20cm2 for the Nd^3+:Li3Ba2Re3(MoO4)8 and 6. 2×10-20cm2 for the Nd^3+:Li3Ba2Re3(MoO4)8 respectively. Finally, the laser properties of the crystals were evaluated and compared with those of other Nd--doped laser crystals,and the results show that Nd^3+:Li3Ba2Re3(MoO4)8 (Re=Y,Gd,La)crystals may be regarded as a potential solid-state laser host material.
