In the future wireless communication networks, high rate multimedia broadband data traffic needs to be provided. In order to ensure the reliability and validity, cooperation communication technology has been introduced in wireless networks. Thus, in this paper, a game theory based cooperative resource management strategy in wireless multimedia networks was proposed. Nash equilibrium point was found by confirming the transmit price and cooperation resource quantity, and results of the strategy were proved by Pareto optimal solution, and the rationality and feasibility of using game theory to allocate cooperative resources was verified by theoretical analysis. Simulation results show that, supported by the proposed strategy, the network performance is much better than that by using determinate price to allocate radio resources.
