A filtering PSO (FPSO)algorithm is presented and applied to solve the partner selection problem of virtual enterprise.That is replacing the particles with Wworse fitness values by the feasible particles with better fitness values during the process of optimization.Thus,the algorithm owns the ability of fdtrating,and the searching speed is improved,which can guarantee the global optimal solution being found as well.A series of experiments are performed and the simulation results are compared with standard PSO algorithm to show the efficiency of the proposed FPSO algorithm
