多孔泡沫材料的制备、应用和性能研究均不断取得新的进展.在关于多孔材料结构和性能方面的理论中,著名的经典性模型--Gibson-Ashby模型一直受到国际同行的普遍认同,迄今仍然是众多研究者在研究工作中广泛应用的理论基础.对该模型尚存在的若干不足和问题进行了一些补充思考和分析,发现其中有些缺陷甚至可以打破该模型原来表现出来的"完满性".在总结陈述这些问题的基础上,引荐了可以克服或弥补上述模型不足的另一个模型.

New developments are ceaselessly gained for the preparation, the application and the property study of porous materials. As to the theories about the structure and properties of porous materials, the famous classical model-Gibson-Ashby model has been being commonly endorsed in the field of porous materials all over the world, and is the theoretical foundation widespreadly applied by numerous investigators to their relative researches up to now. Some supplementary thinking and analyses are made for the shortages in this model in the present paper, and it is found that some shortages can even break the completivity originally shown by this model. Based on the summery about these problems, another new model is introduced which can make up the shortcomings existed in Gibson-Ashby model.
