The responses of hysteresis loops to stress amplitude and frequency are studied in this paper based on the influences of fatigue loading on stress-strain curves. The results show that as the loading exceeds the yield point, the strain amplitude augments and the hysteresis curves tend to be steady, besides, the strain hardening effect is also strengthened. When the frequencies of the sine waves increase, the frequency dispersion of the hysteresis loops of the rocks is strengthened. This effect is also intensified with the saturation fluids. The frequency dispersion effect will become more obvious when the coefficients of viscosity of pore fluids increase.
