应激性高血糖是严重烧伤后高代谢反应的突出表现之一,其危害巨大,严重影响患者预后.有研究表明,胰岛素强化治疗,即使用胰岛素严格控制血糖在正常范围,能够改善危重病患者的预后.胰岛素很早就应用于严重烧伤后应激性高血糖的治疗,具有良好的临床疗效.但是针对严重烧伤患者胰岛素强化治疗的相关研究很少,循证医学研究证据不足,亟需开展大样本的随机对照临床试验,以探讨严重烧伤患者使用胰岛素强化治疗的临床疗效.

Stress induced hyperglycemia (SIH),which is an outstanding performance of hypercatabolism after severe bum injury,does tremendous harm to burn patients and has profound influence on prognosis.Some studies have indicated that intensive insulin therapy (IIT),which means maintaining blood glucose level within normal range with insulin treatment,is capable to improve the prognosis of critically ill patients.Although insulin has been applied to treatment of SIH after severe burn injury for a long time and approved to have a lot of beneficial effects,it is lack of study on IIT in severe burn patients and enough evidence-based medical proofs.It is necessary to perform large-sampled randomized controlled clinical trials to investigate effects of IIT on severe burn patients.
