This paper is concerned with the thinking model of five-elements theory in Traditional Chiniese Medicine. Based on the feature of five-element systems, by the use of control theory on linear systems, through diagonalizing five- element matrices, the necessary and sufficient conditions of stabilizability and existence of state observer of five-elements systems are derived. Moreover, the corresponding algorithms are given.
