In2O3 hollow spheres are successfully synthesized by hydrothermal treatment glucose/InCl3 mixtures at 180℃,and calcining in air.The structure and morphology of In2O3 samples are analyzed by X-ray diffraction,scannin g electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy.The results show that the as-synthesized In2O3 hollow spheres are porous with a diameter of 800~1000nm,assembled by numerous aggregated nanoparticles.The room temperature photoluminescence properties of In2O3 hollow spheres are studied.Furthermore,the growth mechanism is discussed briefly.
