河岸带是一个典型的边缘区,根据河岸带纵向空间的镶嵌性、横向空间的过渡性、垂向空间的成层性以及时间分布的动态性等边缘结构特征,提出了河岸带边缘效应的概念.指出河岸带边缘效应是河岸带在结构、状态、行为和功能等方面具有明显的异质性和独特性,这种边缘效具有过渡性、动态变化涨落、易超承载运行等特点,并具体表现为地理边缘效应、生态边缘效应、缓冲边缘效应以及社会边缘效应等.

The riparian zone is a representative edge area. According to the longitudinally inlaid, horizontally transitional, vertically layered and temporally dynamic characteristics, the edge effect of the riparian zones was proposed. The edge effect of riparian zones was of remarkable heterogeneity and uniqueness in the structure, situation, behavior and function and so on. It was characterized by the transitional transformation, dynamic fluctuation and easy operation under the excess capacity, including the geographical edge effect, the ecological edge effect, the buffering edge effect and the social edge effect.
