高校合并及重组为图书馆带来了发展机遇．但多校区格局却给资源布局和服务带来了新问题。笔者调查图书馆各校区中文期刊资源布局、读者类型、读者人数、学科设置及读者利用各类型文献的详实数据，探索了中文期刊订购建设策略，以读者利用为导向，根据图书馆自身特点和经费现状，科学合理的配置各种载体的文献资源。

The consolidation and regrouping of universities has brought their libraries opportunities for development, while the multi-campus pattem results in new problems in resources layout and services. In order to explore ordering strate- gies of Chinese periodicals and get library＇ s literature resources deployed properly in accordance with its own fea- tures and financial status from the readers＇ orientation, the author has investigated such items as Chinese periodical resources layout, reader types, number of readers, subject setting and detailed data of the use of various types of literature in the libraries on respective campuses
