Visfatin是最近识别的一种主要表达于内脏脂肪组织的脂肪细胞因子,具有胰岛素样降低血糖以及影响脂肪组织代谢的作用.研究发现,1型糖尿病患者血浆visfatin水平可能与其胰岛β细胞功能障碍有关,运动训练能有效降低该水平.2型糖尿病患者血浆visfatin明显升高,腰臀比是其的独立相关因素.此外,妊娠糖尿病患者及肥胖者血浆visfatin水平也有明显变化,因此visfatin可能与糖尿病的发病有关.

Visfatin is a recently identified adipokine which is expressed predominantly in visceral fat.It reduces plasma glucose by insulin-mimetic effect and affects fat tissue metabolism.Studies demonstrate that serum visfatin may be related to the β-cell dysfunction and lowered effectively by exercise training in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus.Plasma visfatin concentration is increased obviously in type 2 diabetes meltitus patients and waist to hip ratio is independently associated with it.Besides,plasma visfatin concentrations are also varied obviously in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus and obesity.So it may be related to the pathogenesis of diabetes mellitus.
