This paper presented the working principle of pulsating heat pipe. Based on the pulsation theory, the paper described the heat transfer mechanism of pulsating heat pipe, analyzed the factors of affecting heat transfer performance of pulsating heat pipe, summarized the deficiencies in current research work, and made the suggestions for the study of pulsating heat pipe in the future.
